The Lehigh Valley Let's Build Construction Camp for Girls is open to girls ages 12-18.

Learn about architecture, engineering, and manufacturing during construction-related field trips to area businesses.

Learn basic design/drafting, basic engineering, and hands on learning of the construction trades (carpentry, electrical, flooring, HVAC, masonry, painting, plumbing, roofing, siding, and more)

Build confidence, feel empowered, and learn leadership skills

Explore the latest technology used in architecture, engineering, and construction

Learn about career opportunities and be mentored by powerful industry professionals

Go on fieldtrips to an architecture firm, engineering firm, and building product manufacturing facility

Camp is FREE to attend! Camp registration open from 3/1/24-4/27/24.

Registrants will be notified in early May of acceptance into camp.

Registration is not guaranteed acceptance into camp.

Volunteer Information

Take a proactive approach to impacting the lives of youth in our community. Let’s Build Construction Camp has many different types of volunteer opportunities to accommodate your level of interest.

Whether you can dedicate a few hours, a few days, a few months, or longer we welcome you to make a positive contribution with us. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.

Due to the nature of our work, we require volunteers that work directly with children to provide background clearances. Required documents are:

The construction industry suffers from workforce shortages. It is imperative for industry businesses to take a proactive role to inspire youth in our community to enter the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Building Product Manufacturing industry.

Let's Build Construction Camp for Girls is a program designed for middle school and high school age girls to attend a free week-long camp to explore architecture, engineering, and construction through hands on experiences and fieldtrips. This national award-winning camp was founded in 2017, and has hosted 100+ girls since the camp's inception.

All proceeds raised will help underwrite the operational costs to run the Let’s Build Construction Camp for Girls and ensure that it is FREE for girls to attend. Let's Build Construction Camp, Inc. is registered non-profit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible.
